Description

This poster documents an April 24, 2008 performance by Hot Chip at The Fillmore, during a period when the band was gaining broad international recognition for their blend of electronic production, pop songwriting, and dance-floor experimentation. Following the release of Made in the Dark earlier that year, Hot Chip were transitioning from cult electronic act to major festival and theater headliners, bringing their playful yet meticulously crafted live shows to larger audiences. The poster was designed by Zachariah O'Hora as part of the Fillmore’s ongoing series of venue-commissioned artworks, reflecting the late-2000s moment when electronic and indie-pop artists were fully integrated into the historic rock-venue circuit.
