Description

This poster documents a February 15, 2008 performance at The Fillmore featuring Umphrey’s McGee with Om Trio, during a period when Umphrey’s McGee were solidifying their reputation as one of the most technically ambitious bands within the modern jam scene. By the late 2000s, the band had built a dedicated following through extended improvisation, genre-blending compositions, and rigorous touring, frequently headlining storied venues like the Fillmore. The poster was designed by Randy Fung, whose clean, mid-century–influenced graphic approach—often compared to Saul Bass–era design—set this piece apart from more illustrative concert posters of the time.
